Spotlight on Asylum – Private View – Thursday 13th September – 7pm
Private view of the Spotlight on Asylum exhibition, which will be on display at Karamel N22 throughout the festival.

Women Detained – A Decade of Degradation: Saturday 15th September – 7pm.
Performance by the All African Women’s Alliance, followed by screening of Women Detained and Q&A with a panel of investigative journalists and activists.

Stand-up for Asylum – Comedy Night: Friday 21st September – 7pm
In amongst all the gravity, the poetry and the politics, the art and film, there is always space for humour.

Woven Gold Choir – Concert and Meal: Saturday 13th October – 7pm
Performance by Woven Gold, a choir of refugees and asylum seekers from many of our world’s most desperate and divided countries.

Asylum in Focus: Friday & Saturday 19th & 20th October – 7pm (both days)
With features, shorts, fiction and documentary, this two-day event will explore stories of asylum in film.

Asylum InQuizition: quiz and meal: Saturday 26th October – 7pm
Quiz night compered by three local MP’s, with themes and questions developed in collaboration with Haringey Migrant Support Group, Birth Companions and The Helen Bamber Foundation.

Hope in a Hostile Environment – a night of spoken word: Saturday 27th October-6.30pm
